Hey guys, I hope you are going well!

I am aware that I haven't updated for ages, and right now I've come to the point where I really want to update and return to the net quite badly.

Since the start of summer holidays, all the unpleasant university stuff lies behind me (at least I think so) and I found a good doctor who can help me with my allergies and immune system weaknesses. I am still doing a lot of researching and experimenting on health but it will decrease to a normal level over time, and although I am not 'fully cured' I feel so much better already. Also I cannot remember the last severe cold I had (which in this case is not due to my bad memory). Rarely I feel a bit tattered because I ate something I am allergic to and didn't have enough rest, but no colds!

Holiday is over now and I will start my BA-Thesis and freelancing. This will keep me busy, so I don't think I will be able to return to deviantART before december. Maybe it will even take me until next year, but we will see.

The last days I slowly crawled through some of all these journals submitted during my long abscence (for my new watchers: I was inactive at deviantart for many many months) and I asked myself if there is a way to delete all journals containing 'Avatar', 'Twilight', 'Merry Christmas' and 'Frank Frazetta' in the headline B) Guess not, eh? '_'

Der WWF sammelt Unterschriften gegen die Verwendung von Papier aus eigens dafür geschlagenem Regenwaldholz im Buchverlag. Die Alternativen zu diesem Papier sind Recycling- oder FSC-Papiere, die aus Holz hergestellt werden, das aus nachhaltig beforsteten Wäldern stammt. Ein solcher Umstieg trägt zum Erhalt der Regenwälder und damit zum Klima- und Artenschutz bei. Bei der Herstellung von Recyclingpapier wird zudem weniger Wasser und Energie verbraucht.

Der WWF möchte Verlage auf dieses Thema aufmerksam machen und zum Umdenken bewegen. Wer dies unterstützen möchte kann hier seine Unterschrift geben und es weitersagen.

Als leidenschaftliche Zeichner und Leser, die viel Papier konsumieren, dürfte dieses Thema einige von euch betreffen.
Auch beim Kauf von Schreib- oder Zeichenpapier kann man darauf achten möglichst Recycling- oder FSC-Papier mit nach Hause zu nehmen. Recyclingpapier ist ohne an Qualität einzubüßen oftmals sogar billiger als Frischfaserpapier und schont so nicht nur den Regenwald sondern auch den eigenen Geldbeutel.

First of all thank you so much for all the favourites and Llama badges you gave me the last days and weeks. I just don't have the time to respond on every single one but I appreaciate every support I get! What I do is say hello to new watchers and I try to answer comments but I'm not that fast.
As I don't get along well with my inbox, in case you feel left out just say something.

At the moment I'm colouring a sketch inspired by fashion drawings. Wanted to have this done some hours before but since it is not an urgent thing I went to a friend's student hostel to ask if they would trade/sell their new couch which they saved from being shreddered. I so fell in love with it, guess it's the most beautiful couch I have ever seen. Got no answer yet because the owner wasn't there but we babbled an babbled about immigration, human rights, Islam, stupid and insulting terrorist-tests and I don't know what. Until it was 11 PM, lol =_=' Now I'm staying awake and painting.

I'm planning on doing commissions because I need money for saving my pc from dying, for a phone station and a fax, for a scanner, for a new backup drive because my old one burned and if possible for the incredible couch. I just have to get this thing, if not I'll regret it for years like when I didn't buy that freaking beautiful African mask for 20Euro two years ago that would fit my fabulous slit-eyed zebra-mask so well. Shit! D:




Please have a look at Maximkos gallery , he is currently successfully teaching himself to paint and is getting better and better and better. He is happy about every feedback and attention he gets (just like me ) so you might want to give him some if you like his stuff.
